Expiry date

All products bought at www.energycans.nl are fresh out of the factory. All European soda’s will have fresh expiry dates.
However, USA imported soda’s will differ. Filling plants in the USA are not obligated to print expiry dates on the bottom of the can. Therefore they use a variety of codes.


Monster Energy – USA import

Shelf life: 24 months

Production code: please note; production code and composition of the production code differs per filling plant. For actual production date, please send your code to: [email protected] and we will get you the information

Rockstar Energy – USA import

Shelf life: 24 months

Production code: production code states the week and year of production as well as a specific number corresponding with the filling plant.

Some products may have an expiry date printed on the bottom of the can, just as we know this in Europe.

Mountain Dew – USA import

Shelf life: 16 months.

Freshness date: Mountain Dew uses freshness dates on the bottom of the cans. This date will be 16 weeks (4 months) after production. This way they guarantee no carbonation leaking. The European equivalent expiry date will be 12 months after Mountain Dew’s freshness date.

Please note:
carbonated soft drinks are not perishable and are safe to drink up to 12 months after the expiry date.
